This is us
Right in the heart of La Lonja in Palma, among the crowded small streets, is the cool cocktail bar Flora. Flora is run by us, Isabel and Dennis, a couple from Sweden.
Isabel, who is half Mallorquin, Mallorca has always been a big part of her life and Dennis, who has traveled extensively, was not hard to persuade when Isabel asked if they should move to Mallorca. Isabel’s dream has always been to open a small wine bar, as she has a great interest in wine. When a close friend of ours suggested that we should open a cocktail bar, a seed was planted.
Both of us have a big interest in cocktails, we love to be creative, which we try to show in our beautiful and incredibly tasty cocktails we serve.
We find the inspiration and many of the ingredients for our cocktails in our own garden at home. We try to use slightly different flavors such as basil and coriander and we pick lemons every day to get freshly squeezed juice for our cocktails. We also try to make all the drink syrup ourselves from scratch, to reduce the amount of sugar you would normally find.
Our unique venue, owned by Mallorquin clothing designer Miguel Adrover, needed a major facelift after it stood empty for several years, but with new paint, lighting and decor, it is now our little gem.
